We’re proud to introduce Down to Fish Australia — an exciting new platform created by everyday fishos who share the same passion and love for fishing as you do.

We started this as just another happy couple with an idea and a dream. The idea really came to life when we moved from regional VIC to Gold Coast. As adults it's hard to find new friendships - especially those with the same interests. After joining some groups on social media in attempt to connect, we soon learnt how harsh and how much bullying there is out there. Hence, the emphasis on safety and community within our brand.  

Down to Fish has always been about one thing: delivering a fresh, engaging fishing experience that’s built by fisho's, for fisho's. We’ve taken our time to get it right — no shortcuts, no compromises. We’ve blended the heart of old-school fishing culture with innovative features never before seen in a fishing app. Think ease, connection, and community — with a strong focus on safety, security, and zero tolerance for bullying. We love our banter, but we won't tolerate bullying.

When we say this app is for the fishos, you’ll understand exactly what we mean when you give your free trial a go. We’re absolutely keen as mustard to see what you all think!

P.S. Spearo's! — we haven’t forgotten you.
A dedicated spearfishing section is coming soon — seamlessly integrated within the Down to Fish app. You’ll have your own platform completely separate to the fisho's but the app is set up for both niches in the exact same way. With the ability to switch between fishing and spearfishing modes with ease. And if you love both hobbies, there are no additional fees to run a profile for each. 

Whether you fish, spear, or do both — Down to Fish will be fully customizable to suit your style.

As we have said from the beginning, Down to Fish won't be for everyone, but we are confident many fisho's around Aus will benefit from our app.
